On 23 November 2023, a discussion meeting and palagan was held as part of the campaign on safe foreign travel and human trafficking in Kamarjani Union of Sadar Upazila of Gaibandha District. Principal of Gaibandha Government College Mr. Md. Khalilur Rahman and special guests Mr. Nesharul Haque Assistant Director of District Employment and Manpower Office and Gaibandha District Information Officer Mr. Hriday Mahmud Chayan were present as chief guests in the event. Besides, local public representatives, journalists of electronic and print media, representatives of organizations and a large number of local residents were present. In the event, under the chairmanship of Kamarjani Union Parishad Chairman, the speakers discussed about safe immigration and prevention of human trafficking and the service of expatriate help desk of Union Digital Center at people's doorstep. At the end of the discussion, a public awareness song was performed.
